We collect personal information necessary to provide our service, including your name, address, contact details, driver's license information, and photographs.
Your data is used to process your International Driving Permit application, provide customer support and fulfil legal obligations, and, if you leave an application unfinished, to send you a few reminders about it (see section 3).
When you type your email address on our application or checkout page, we save your progress so you can come back to it. If you leave without finishing, we may send you up to three reminder emails in your language over about three days, each with a link back to your application. A reminder may include a discount code that works only for your address and expires on the date shown.
Reminders stop as soon as you pay, when you unsubscribe (one click, in every reminder) or after the last reminder. Unsubscribing from reminders does not stop the emails about an order you have paid for. Before any reminder is sent, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form was filled in by a person. Our team may also email you a link to pay for an unfinished order; it is never sent to an address that failed that check or that unsubscribed.
Your license number, date of birth and addresses are encrypted with a key that only your own browser holds (a secure cookie), so they can be restored only on the device where you entered them. If you open a reminder on another device, we first email you a 6-digit code, and these details are not restored there: you enter them again. The rest of your application (name, plan, countries) is stored encrypted on our servers; your email address and first name, which we need to send the reminders, and your phone number, if you give one, are also stored as you entered them.
A saved application is deleted 14 days after your last activity; when you pay, its saved details are emptied at once (they become part of your order). A short summary for our support team (name, contact details, plan, countries and the step you reached, never your license number, date of birth or addresses) is deleted together with it. Reminder records are kept for 30 days after the reminders end, then without your address. So that you never receive reminders again after unsubscribing, our do-not-email list keeps only a keyed fingerprint of your address, not the address itself.
Reminder emails are sent through Resend; the bot check is provided by Cloudflare. To have a saved application or your reminder data deleted, write to support@internationaldl.com.
We implement industry-standard security measures, including SSL encryption, to protect your personal and payment information. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with required third-party service providers (like payment processors and shipping couriers) to fulfill your order.
You have the right to request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Please contact support@internationaldl.com for assistance.
